Mr. Jack L. Bowen, 65, of Moss Point, Mississippi, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at his home in Moss Point.
He was born on July 16, 1956, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Carl and Betty Smith Bowen.
Jack was a wonderful, and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping, but his favorite pastime was playing gospel bluegrass music on his guitar and banjo.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Martin.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Bonnie Bowen, one son, Joel Bowen, 2 daughters, Heather Bowen, and Crystal (Mark) Stauter, 2 stepchildren, Alicia (Jay) Moore, and David (Dara) Bailey, 15 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandsons. One sister, Barbara (Ervin) Tompkins, 2 brothers, Mike (Debra) Bowen, and Steve (Betty Ann) Bowen.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Holder-Wells Coastal Funeral Home, 12800 Hwy 613, Moss Point, Mississippi 39562. Jack's brother Mike Bowen will officiate the service. Serving as pallbearers are, Mark Stauter, Tanner Stauter, Danny Bowen, Tommy Bacon, and Warren Steelman. Burial will be at Serene Memorial Gardens.
