Jack P. Woods, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on December 5, 2024, at the age of 57. Born on November 8, 1967, in Smithville, Missouri, Jack spent much of his life in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, where he built a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication.

Jack graduated from St. Martin High School in 1986, where he formed lifelong friendships and built the foundation for the hardworking, compassionate man he became.

Jack was preceded in death by his father, Jack P. Woods Jr. and Don W. Church; his maternal grandmother, Margaret "Granny Jo" McCormick of Earlington, KY; his maternal grandfather, Leroy Vaughn of Hopkinsville, KY; his paternal grandmother, Winnie Pruitt; and his paternal grandfather, Delbert Pruitt of Trimble, MO.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Michelle Woods; his son, Bryce Woods of Biloxi, MS; his loving mother, Peggy Church of Biloxi; his brother, Jeff Woods (Alicia) of Vancleave, MS; his sister, Brooke Fontenelle (Larry) of Biloxi, MS; his brother, Scott Church (Amy) of Destin, FL; as well as numerous nieces, nephews who knew him as Uncle Fuzzy, cousins, and dear friends.

Jack's favorite profession was his time spent as a long-haul truck driver. He found joy and freedom on the open road, taking pride in his work and the places it allowed him to see. Jack was also an animal lover and found immense happiness in spending time with his pets, who were like family to him.

Jack P. Woods will be remembered for his big heart, his hardworking spirit, and the love he shared with those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
