Mr. James Carl Allman, Jr., 75 of Moss Point, Mississippi, passed from this life on Saturday, March 13, 2021. He was born on May 3, 1945, in Lucedale, Mississippi to James Carl Allman, Sr., and Marjorie Ruth Shaw Allman.
Mr. Allman was an assistant Boy Scout Master for 15 years, he was a Navy Veteran, and a member of the IBEW. He was an electrician, and worked for Ingalls Shipbuilding for over 40 years, retiring as a Master Shipbuilder. He was a faithful member and, helped build Crossroads Church of the Nazarene. He served on the church board as Secretary and Chief coffee maker. He enjoyed Alabama football and fishing.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Allman was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Becky Allman, and Diane Skinner, and one brother, John Harvey Allman.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Mary Ann Cook Allman, one son, Michael Anthony (Renee) Allman, Sr., 2 daughters, Teresa (Bryan) Williams and Melanie Allman (Mikel) Jones. Grandchildren, Lindsey Allman, Michael Allman, Jr., Ethan Allman, Jacob Allman, Maegan Williams, Jayce Williams, Kaylyn Jones, Karson Jones, and Dakota Arnold. Great-grandchildren, Erica Grace Allman, and Ethan Skylar Allman. One sister, Pamela (Tom) Price.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 17, 2021, from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Crossroads Church of The Nazarene, 6150 Firestone St., Ocean Springs, Mississippi. The funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Nick Peeples officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be at Serene Memorial Gardens in Moss Point, Mississippi. Serving as Pallbearers will be Mikel Jones, Jr., Michael Allman, Jr., Jacob Allman, Dakota Arnold, Bryan Williams, Jayce Williams, Steve Walmsley, and James Dobbs. Honorary Pallbearers, Karson Jones, and Michael Allman, Sr.
