It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James "Chuck" Coleman, who passed away at the age of 55 years old on January 28, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Patricia Beasley, and his father, Charles Coleman.
He is survived by his beloved children: CJ (Bella) Coleman of New Orleans, Louisiana; Caleb Coleman of Pascagoula, Mississippi; and Katelyn Coleman (Brylon Goss) of Pascagoula, Mississippi. He is also survived by his sister, Lynda Coleman, and his brother, Shade (Susan) Holder, both of Gautier, Mississippi, as well as his soon-to-arrive grandson, James Coleman.
James found great joy in riding motorcycles, spending time in conversation with his children, and discovering new places through travel. He dedicated many years to the Moss Point Police Department, where he served with distinction as a lieutenant.
Services will be held on Wednesday February 4th, 2026 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 3702 Quinn Dr. Pascagoula, MS 39581. A visitation will begin at 11:00 am with a Service to follow at 12:00 pm.
