Mr. James Edward Guy, age 85, Pascagoula MS, originally of Dothan AL, passed peacefully on June 9, 2013 in Gulfport MS surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Guy was a proud member of the Air Force, where he served his country for over twenty-one years. He was a faithful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was loved by all, had a heart of gold, and his presence will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his wife, Frances N. Guy; father, Dewitt T. Guy; and mother, Minnie Mae Guy. Mr. Guy is survived by four loving daughters, Patricia (Bill) Elwick, Mary Wernowsky, Joane "BJ" (Bill) Swenson, Joyce (Steve) Fulton; twelve grandchildren, Tammi (Jack) Lee, James (Debbie) Elwick, Brian Elwick, Mark Elwick, Pamela (Steward) Hooper, Allison (Brad) Bellman, Brooke Wernowsky, Chris (Kanda) Floyd, Amy Hays, Lisa Floyd, Crystal Wernowsky, Robert Fulton; and twenty-one great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Monday, June 17, 2013 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 9:30 a.m. with Pastor Larue Stephens officiating.
