James "Jimmy" Russell Holden, Senior passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023 at his residence in Vancleave.
He is preceded in death by Russell David Holden-father; Dorothy Mae Holden-mother; James Russell Holden Jr "Rusty"-son.
He is survived by Linda Kaye Holden; wife of Vancleave; Jason & Buffie Holden; son and wife; of Ocean Springs; Chase & Amber Holden; grandson & wife; of Vancleave; Claire & Casey Croy; granddaughter & husband; of Escatawpa; Timothy & Becca Holden, grandson & wife of Escatawpa; TJ, Truette James, Mary Beth, Hannah Kay; Great Grandkids; of Ocean Springs; Denton Holden; Great grandson; of Vancleave; Mike & Gloria Lee- Uncle; of Vancleave; Terry Peterson, cousin of Vancleave; Marty Peterson, cousin of Vancleave; Donald G "Sonny" "Duck" Peterson; cousin of Vancleave and Tammy Peterson, cousin of Vancleave.
Jimmy enjoyed hunting, fishing, making phone calls to his people, John Wayne movies, Magnolia Hunting Club and Jackson Avenue Baptist Church Softball Team.
He was a Proud Senior Production Planner at Huntington Ingalls Industries.
A visitation for Jimmy will be held Thursday October 26, 2023, from 11:00AM-12:00PM at Holder-Wells Funeral Home Main Street Chapel, the funeral service will follow at 12:00PM.
Interment will conclude at Serene Memorial Gardens.
