Mr. James Leo Jones 78, passed away peacefully on Thursday January 19,2023. Mr. Jones was born in Millry, AL on March 8,1944 to Leo and Mary Jones. He was retired from Ampro Fisheries, he enjoyed working in his yard and gardening.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Susan Mae Jones and his siblings Nell King, Velma Stutts, Judy Ward, and Cleo Jones.
He is survived by his daughter Deborah "Debbie" Harris/ Sammy Magee of LaPlace, LA; grandchildren Alisa (Austin) Henson of Madison, AL, and Angie (Ryan) Boyne of Moss Point, MS; great grandchildren Aubree, Abbey and Maci. Other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Monday January 30, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Holder-Wells Funeral Home 4007 Main Street Moss Point, MS 39563.
The funeral will be Tuesday January 31, 2023, beginning at 10:00 am from the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Serene Gardens cemetery 12800 Hwy 613 Moss Point, MS 39562.
