James Edward McCann passed away August 16, 2024, at the age of 91. A native of Neshoba County, MS and resident of Moss Point, MS he was a retiree of International Paper. He was preceded in death by his wives Mary Hamilton McCann and Katherine Sistrunk McCann. He is survived by his daughter, Anita (Thomas) McCann Perrette, grandchildren Sara (James) Perrette Branch and Neil (Kelsey) Andrew Perrette, and great-grandchildren, Mason and Daniel Branch, and Lowynn and McCarty Perrette, all of Mobile, AL.
Local visitation will be held at Holder-Wells Funeral Home Main Street Chapel, on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm. 4007 Main Street, Moss Point, MS 39563
The burial will be at Plattsburg Cemetery in Noxapater, MS on August 22, 2024, at 12 noon. There will be a visitation 1 hour prior to the graveside located at Plattsburg Baptist Church.
