Mr. James Vernon "Bossy" Miller 70 of Pascagoula, MS passed away on October 11,2022 in Pascagoula. Mr. Miller was born on January 10,1952 in Lucedale, MS. He worked as a tugboat captain for numerous marine towing companies along the gulf coast. He loved to sit on his porch and drink coffee with his family and friends. He also loved to go and spend time at his camp at Smiths Landing in George County and joking and picking on his brother-in-law "Uncle Gary".
He was preceded in death by his parents Preston and Lanney Miller and his brothers and sisters.
He is survived by son Frank (Pam) Miller, his daughter Kim Miller White (Shane Philyaw) grandchildren Andrew Miller, Wyatt Miller Austin White, Mason White, sister Mary Bright, precious caregiver for 20 plus years and brother-in-law Gary Alexander, his niece Lisa Bennett, nephew Richard Hornsley, great niece Savannah Bennett, his brother-in-law Raymond Kimsey, and special friends Lynn and Lewis Savage, Francis Schutlz and many other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be Friday October 14,2022 at Serene Gardens cemetery 12800 Hwy 613 Moss Point, MS 39562 beginning at 11:00 am.
