James Allen Treadway Jr.,54, of Gautier, MS, went to be with his heavenly father on Monday, February 5, 2024. He was born in Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, MS on July 6, 1969, to Jim and Patricia Treadway. He was a graduate of MacArthur High School, Irving, TX.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, D.W. and Mary Katherine Buxton, and Major John E. and Barbara Blunschi Treadway. His uncle, John E. Treadway, Jr. Pascagoula, MS.

James is survived by his father Jim (Rebecca) Treadway, of Pascagoula, MS, and his brother, Haydn Fisher. His mother, Ms. Patricia Diane Buxton Treadway, of Gautier, MS, uncle, Billy Ray Buxton, of Gautier, MS, aunts, Martha Risher (Bill) Heidelberg, Barbara (Neil) Dickens, Betty (Charlie) Johnson, Amanda (Steve) Magee, all of Gautier, MS, uncle, Stan (Gayle) Treadway, of Ocean Springs, MS, aunt Patti Ann Treadway Carrier, of MI, cousins, Jason Carrier, Jeremy Carrier, Joshua Carrier of MI, Jennifer Carrier, and Katie House, Michael Treadway and Matthew of Colorado, Jason Shoemaker, Raleigh, MS , Howard Shoemaker of Raleigh, MS and Kevin Shoemaker of Sumrall. Allison Risher Sinclair of Sumrall, MS, Steven Dickens of Lexington, KY, Tommy Johnson of Biloxi, MS, Tiffany Buxton of Greenville, PA and Lacie Buxton of Lancaster, PA and many other numerous close cousins, family, and friends. He also leaves behind his best friend Joey Gonzales.

James has many passions in life, but his all-time favorites were, music, movies, and playing the PlayStation with his friends and family. He was baptized at Escatawpa 1st Assembly of God Church. James' most treasured memories were the times he spent with friends made all those years at Hollis Skating Rink, Pascagoula, MS. He will be missed dearly by all that knew him.

Interment will take place on, Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Serene Memorial Gardens, located at 12800 Highway 613, Moss Point, MS 39562. Graveside family only.
