Janet Holden Collins, age 83, of Lucedale, MS passed from this life to her heavenly home on October 4, 2025. She is a precious wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and honorary "Granny" to many. She loved singing gospel songs and praising her sweet Jesus. She loved spending time with her family and making people smile.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Collins (and family) of Lebanon Oregon, her sisters Joyce Parks and Brenda Kay Johnson, her daughters, Penny Herrington, Kim Estes and daughter-in-law Lisa Mitchell, her grandchildren Gordon (Cherie) Estes, Christy Hudson (Billy), Candace Phelps, Jason Herrington (Cassie), Justin Herrington (Alex), Mindy (Lee) Anderson, Melissa Kimmel (Will), Tiffany Anderson, and April Clark. She cherished her many great grandchildren, Kaylee and Khloe Hudson, Parker Estes, Lundyn Fisher, Tristen, Claire and Jena Herrington, Carlie, Bubba, Natalie and Jacob Herrington, Zachary Atkinson, Tristan Rangel, Kenny Anderson, Ciara and Daniella Anderson, Logan Mitchell, Ambriana Fairly, Ethan Estes, Cannon Mills, and Noah Clark. She had many nieces and nephews that she dearly loved. "You will be missed, my sweet momma, by many."
She is proceeded in death by her parents Frances Pope and William Leslie, her brothers Jack Leslie and Bill Leslie, sisters Neil Rose Stanfield, Linda McGuire, Brenda Flake (& Ernest) her husband Arnold Holden, her sons Scott Douglas Estes, Timothy Holden, Danny Estes, and Chris Estes.
A special thank you to the care givers at Smith Manor for loving her and taking such good care of her over the past year.

Funeral services will be held at Holder - Wells Coastal Funeral Home 12800 Highway 613 in Moss Point, MS followed by burial in Jackson County Memorial Park, in Pascagoula, Mississippi.
