Jeremy Leighton Miller was born April 28, 1975 in Pascagoula MS to parents Gary and Marsha Miller. God called him home on August 13, 2025 in Rock Springs, WY. Jeremy worked as General Operation/Sales Manager for Industry One for many years. He loved the outdoors and animals. He liked to hunt, fish, visit the mountains and watch sporting events. He attended college on a baseball scholarship at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas and graduated with his bachelor degree there. Jeremy will be missed by his parents Gary and Marsha Miller, his brother and sister-in-law Lynn and Julie Miller, nieces Marleigh Savell and Addi Miller, and nephew Max Miller. Jeremy adored his nieces and nephew with all of his heart. Others special relatives he left behind are uncles Kevin (Penny) Holden and Bill Mount, aunts Lori Holden and Paulette Miller along with cousins Jeff Mount, Kim Mount, Mindy Drake, Holly Newman, April Davis, Megan Holden, Russ Holden, Simon Holden and Kenny Miller and their families. His secretary, Michelle Wilson, was a very special, trusted friend.

Jeremy was greeted in heaven by his grandparents John and Pauline Miller, S.T. and Eloise Holden, uncles Thomas Miller, Ted, Alan and Darren Holden, aunts Sue Mount and Connie Holden, and cousin Clay Miller.

Jeremy was an animal lover and leaves behind his two pets Maggie and Sadie Miller. He always said that if he ever got rich, he would build a huge animal refuge and would save all unwanted pets. In keeping with his memory, we ask that in lieu of flowers, you donate to the Jackson County Animal Shelter in his honor.

Jeremy loved life, seeing new places, appreciated nature and loved his family and friends. He was a good son, beloved brother and was willing to do whatever he could to help others. He always went to bat for the underdog, encouraged success in his coworkers and provided employment opportunities to many of whom other employers would not have considered. He recognized that everyone had good in them, you just needed to know where to look for it.

Jeremy's pall bearers will be Max Miller, Simon Holden, Russ Holden, Alan Maddox, Bobby Tinson and Paul Drake. Honorary pall bearers are Mike Melendy, John Kumer, James Wilkins, and James McLaughlin. Pastors Wake Inabinette and JoAnn Lutes from the Reorganized Latter Day Saints Church in Vancleave and Reverend Ron McDougald from the Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church will officiate at his funereal service at Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church on Friday, August 22, 2025 with interment in the church cemetery. Friends may pay their respects beginning at 10:00 a.m. with his funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m.
