Mr. Jerry Louis Kirkland, born October 4, 1942, transitioned into heaven May 30, 2022, at the age of 79 years.
He was predeceased by his parents, Arlie and Annie Kirkland; brother's, Paul and Raymond, wife of 47 years, Elaine Kirkland, and son, Ronnie Louis Kirkland 18 months.
He is survived by his son, Robert Kirkland (Dolla), daughter's, Patricia Davis, Derinda Brown, and Teresa Hoven, numerous grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and one Great Great-Grandchild.
Also surviving is his Valentine Day Bride of 13 years, Virginia Kirkland; stepson, Chris Bowen, stepdaughter, Melissa Jackson, 4 step grandchildren and 4 step great-grandchildren, also surviving from the state of Virginia are brother's, James, and Ray Kirkland; sister's, Betty Fluet and Benita Humphries and their families.
Jerry was a member of Franklin Baptist Church Flora, MS; he was a wonderful God-fearing hard-working carpenter who loved all his family deeply, always putting others first and remaining humble and kind. He will be loved and missed by All family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday June 3, 2022, from 2:00PM-3:00PM at Coastal Funeral Home 12800 Highway 613 Moss Point, MS 39562. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 3:00PM with Tommy Brill officiating. Interment will conclude in Serene Memorial Gardens.
