Jerry C. Watson passed away Friday On September 11, 2020 at the age of 73. Jerry was born on May 7, 1947 to Bill and Jessie Watson of Bellefontaine, MS. He was an incredibly devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather who loved telling stories to everyone he met.
He retired from Ingalls Shipyard and enjoyed spending his time working on cars.
Jerry is survived by his children, Jerry F. Watson (Kristina) of Wilmer, AL, Greg Watson (Thomas) of New Orleans, LA, Jennifer Howard of Hainesport, NJ , Chris Watson (Kristina) of Columbus AFB, MS, Timothy Watson (Jamie) of Moss Point, MS; grandchildren, Savannah, Tyler, Lauren, Rebecca, Danielle, Wyatt, Alicia, Bennett, Seth, Lexi, Zoey, Micah, Holly, Mary and Matthew; and great-grandchildren, Cooper, Laina, Thomas, Raelyn and Everleigh.
A visitation will be held for Jerry at Holder-Wells Coastal Chapel on Saturday September 19, 2020 from 11AM-12PM. The funeral service will begin at 12:00PM. Interment will follow at Serene Memorial Gardens.
