Mrs. Jerry Weston

Mrs. Jerry Weston, 76 of Pascagoula, Mississippi, passed from this life on Monday, January 27, 2020 at We Care Hospice in Moss Point. She was born July 12, 1943 to Josie Kathryn Ladnier and Max Mcllwain Bodden. Jerry retired from the Pascagoula School District after 27 years of clerical service. She was a member of the Pascagoula Association of Educational Office Professionals, Mississippi Association of Educational Office Professionals and the National Association of Educational Office Professionals. She served two terms as local president and one term as Mississippi state president. She was selected Office Professional of the Year for Mississippi and finished in the top ten at the national level. She was an active band parent for both the Colmer Cougar Band and Pascagoula Panther Band, making many trips as chaperone for both groups. Jerry was an active PTA/PTO parent serving as president at Colmer Junior High. She has also been active with the Pascagoula Senior Citizens group, attending weekly luncheons and making trips with the travel club. Mrs. Weston was survived by her loving husband, Grady F. Weston for 56 years. She was also survived by her son, Dr. Grady Scott Weston of Searcy, AR and his wife Tammie, daughter Dr. Stasia Lynn Weston, daughter Shea Weston Tucker both of Pascagoula. Also survived by four grandchildren: Emily Nicole Weston of Dallas, TX, Sarah Grace Weston of Searcy, AR, and Weston Kelly Tucker and Jacob Bryan Tucker of Pascagoula. Special Friends, Wanda Fishburn of Dauphin Island, AL, Sue Butler and Alice Richards of Pascagoula and Terry Byrd of Hurley. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2020 following regular church services at Grand Bay Church of Christ in Grand Bay, Alabama.
