Mr. Jimmy Darrell Austin, age 75, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2020.He was born on September 4, 1944, in Grenada County, Mississippi, to John Bryant and Hazel Ovell Jenkins Austin. Jimmy was a sweet and loving man to all. He loved and cared for his horses. Jimmy is survived by his children, Jimmy Bryant Austin, Tommy Joseph Guthrie, Darrell Austin, Jerry Austin, Sherry Austin Ash, Linda Austin, and Donna Kay Austin; brother, Wayne Austin; special friend, Michelle Williams, and numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Austin; son Gerald Austin; sister, Hazel Hall; and brothers, Bryant E Austin, Harold Dean Austin, and Thomas Lynn Austin. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at 2 PM, in the Chapel of Coastal Funeral Home, 12800 Hwy 613, Moss Point, MS. Interment will follow in Serene Memorial Gardens, next to the Chapel.
