Mrs. Joanne Lassiter 64, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on March 29,2021 in Ocean Springs. Joanne was born in Biloxi, MS on October 20,1956. She loved spending time with her husband of 39 years. She loved her family and being a Grandmaw to her 5 grandchildren. She loved traveling to Disney World and to London with her family.
Joanne is preceded in death by her mother Eliska Grimes.
She is survived by her husband Gordon Jay Lassiter, her children Angela Kilpatrick, Eliska (Lenny) Belcher, Susie (Jeremy) Boulware and Kacie Lassiter. Her father Joseph Grimes, her sister, Shari Brewer, and her brother, Michael Grimes. She will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren Jay Belcher, Anthony Belcher, Michael Lassiter, Olivia Boulware and Catelee Boulware. Nieces nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Thursday April 1,2021 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at Holder-Wells Funeral Home 4007 Main Street Moss Point, Mississippi 39563. The funeral service will begin at 11:30 am from the funeral chapel. Rev. Michael Wilkinson will be officiating. Burial will follow in Machpelah cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Boulware, Lenny Belcher, Jay Belcher, Anthony Belcher, Morgan Johnson and Jason Boulware.
