Johnny Ray Thorske, Sr., 57 of Grand Bay, Alabama, passed from this life on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 in Mobile, Alabama. Johnny was born July 25, 1961 in Independence, Louisiana. He was a Startup Supervisor and worked in refrigeration for many years. Johnny was a man that everyone loved, respected and enjoyed being around. He worked hard for the company who employed him and even harder for his family. Johnny would honestly, give anyone the shirt off his back and he was always there when someone needed him. Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Trygve Alex Thorske, Sr. Survivors include his loving wife, Linda Thorske; sons, JJ Thorske, Sean Thorske and Josh Thorske and wife Robin; mother, Helen Thorske; brothers, Sonny Trygve, Jr. and wife Julie and Kenny Thorske and wife Jodi; his sisters, Elizabeth Thorske, Darlene Fletcher and husband Russell, Inger Monistere and husband Keith, Kathy Forstall and husband Tim and Angel Klingman and husband Kenny; three grandchildren, Hayden, Damon and Landon; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2019 from 1:00 until 2:00pm at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point. A memorial service will follow at 2:00pm from the funeral home chapel with Rev.
