Judy Elaine Bailey Nettles was called home to be with her heavenly Father on October 30, 2023.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Mansfield Bailey, Jr. and Ernestine Williams Bailey; infant sister, Susan Marie Bailey; and daughter, Christi Nettles Casey.
She leaves to cherish her memory, Wendi Nettles Ray (Dean), daughter and son-in-law of Vancleave, MS; Robert "Bob" Casey, Jr; son-in-law of Ocean Springs, MS; Anita Bailey Edgil, sister of Odenville, AL; David Bailey (Dianne) brother of Carrollton, GA; Jimmy Bailey (Sherri) brother of Odenville, AL; Dylan Nappier (Madison) grandson of Broadway, VA; Blake Nappier, grandson of Stafford, VA; Sarabeth Casey, granddaughter of Ocean Springs, MS; Caitlyn Ray, granddaughter of Vancleave, MS; Connor Ray, grandson of Vancleave, MS; Rose Nappier, great-granddaughter of Broadway, VA, and lots of precious nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Judy loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved to visit with her siblings on the phone or when they came into town. She and her sister spent hours at a time on the phone! Spending time with her sweet neighbor, Anna, was something she loved, also. On Sundays, she enjoyed watching local church services on television, and enjoyed studying God's word. Earlier in life, before arthritis, she enjoyed crocheting, painting ceramics, crossword puzzles, and reading. She was always busy making something for someone! She had a sweet smile, kind spirit, and giving heart and will be missed tremendously by her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM Sunday, November 5th, 2023, at First Baptist Church Vancleave.
