Ms. Julie S. Yates, 61 of Gulfport passed away Sunday March 7, 2021 at her residence.
She is preceded is preceded in death by her Father, Fred T. Yates Sr., Mother, Nettie Rae Davis Yates, one child, Byron Ashley Yates, one brother, Barry C. Yates.
She is survived by her daughter, Jamie S. Yates(Bentrum), of Gulfport, Ms; sons, Joseph Yates of Georgia; Joshua Yates, sister, Tammy D Yates (Rush), Opeilika, Al, brother's, Fred T Yates, Jr., Tampa, Fl; Jeff C Yates Sr., Loxley, Al; 3 Grandchildren, London Difilippo, Rowan Yates and Adrianna Difilippo; Aunt, Matilda LaFaye Nelson, Lucedale, Ms; also 7 nieces and nephews, numerous cousins and friends.
Julie enjoyed decorating, flower arrangements, dancing and music.
A visitation will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 5:00PM-6:00PM at Holder-Wells Coastal Funeral Home 12800 Highway 613 Moss Point, Ms. A memorial service will follow at 6:00PM in the funeral home chapel.
