Karen Lea (Rogers) Tackett, 55, passed away peacefully September 13, 2019 surrounded by her family.
Karen was born July 9, 1964 to Virginia Petmecky, and Wain (Lawanda) Rogers. Karen graduated from Live Oak High School, class of 1982, and received her ADN from MGCCC in 1993. She worked at several local hospitals and facilities as a Registered Nurse for the last 26 years while being a loving and beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister.
She is survived by her husband George Tackett; daughters Jessica (Roland) Reynolds and Christy (Jared) Law; step-children Zane Tackett, Courtney Shaye (Thomas) Millsaps, and Trishanna Lindsey; sisters, Laura (Joe) Rice, Kelly Rogers Moree, and Amanda (Arryn) Hall; grandchildren Isabella Reynolds, Maddux Law, Emerson, Landen, and Tristen Millsaps; and 15 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2019 from 4 - 6 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home 4007 Main St., Moss Point, MS 39563. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 6 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Elder Vivian Parker officiating.
