Kata Lu Davidson Roberts, aged 100 years, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, August 28 2025.
Kata was born to Kate and Elmo Davidson on July 22, 1925, in Perkinston., Mississippi.
She was a life long member of Roberts Chapel Methodist Church of Mobile, Alabama.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Claude Roberts; son, Dennis Roberts; and Grandson, Jeff Roberts.
She is survived by her sons, Wayne (Lana) Roberts, Eric (Wanda) Roberts, and daughter Phyllis (Mike) Singleton. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A Visitation is planned for Wednesday, September 3, 2025, beginning at 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Roberts Chapel Methodist Church, 2325 Roberts Chapel Road in Mobile, Alabama. The Funeral service will follow at 10:00 am - 11:00 am with a Celebration of life at 12:00 pm.

Kata will be missed by all the lives she touched throughout her long life and will be deeply missed.
