Keith J. Nelson was born on May 1st, 1958 and was raised in Pascagoula, Mississippi passed away on May 3rd,2022 in New Orleans. He was one of the sons of the late Charlie and Wanda Nelson. He is survived by his wife Julie Nelson; his two children, Hannah "First Mate" (Robert) Lusby and Hayley "Boomboom" Nelson; his two grandchildren: Bryson "Bean" and Addison "Sprout"; his siblings: Jefferey Nelson, Linda (Mike) Whitmore, Paulette LaCap, Dwight (Bobby) Nelson, Gregory (Barbara) Nelson, Todd Nelson, Kevin Nelson, and Cody Nelson. He is preceded in death by his parents as well as by his brother, Wayne Nelson. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, working on classic cars, gardening with his wife, and traveling to the mountains. One of his largest passions was old cars and he never missed a Cruisin' The Coast. He worked at Signet Maritime for 30 years and was a beloved engineer. He had many special friends throughout his years at Signet.
A celebration of life service will be Monday May 9,2022 3:00pm at Holder-Wells Funeral Home 4007 Main Street Moss Point, Mississippi 39563 with a visitation beginning at 2:00pm.
