Mr. Kenneth Charles "KC" Jones, 83, of Orange Grove, Mississippi, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022.
He was born on August 27, 1939, in Jackson County, Mississippi, to Pearley Ray Jones and Mary Pierce Jones.
He was a loving family man who enjoyed fishing and hunting, history books, and genealogy research. He loved Blue Grass music and was a lifelong member of Midway United Methodist Church and a member of The Quarter Century Club. He retired from International Paper Company.
In addition to his parents, KC was preceded in death by five brothers, Emery Jones, Elmer Jones, Claude Jones, Robert Jones, and J.W. Jones. One sister, Frances Aston.
Survivors include his devoted wife, Beverly Keene Jones, his children, Jeffery (Lisa) Jones, Kirk (Lesley) Jones, Kimberly Smith, and Sena (Kerry) Jones. Nine grandchildren; Caleb, Chelsea, Camryn, Sydney, Hayden, Harrison, Hayley, Kade, and Delaney. Three great-grandchildren, Titan, Atlas, Holly, and his sister Shirley (Woodrow) Pettis.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 2, 2023, from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Holder Wells Funeral Home, 4007 Main St., Moss Point, MS 39563. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Wendell Stork officiating. The burial will be at Orange Grove Cemetery in Moss Point. Serving as pallbearers; Caleb Smith, Hayden Jones, Harrison Jones, Kade Jones, Terry Stork, Timothy Walters, and Wayne Osborn.
