Lester Frederick Balius was born on May 23,1933. He went on his heavenly journey on March 19,2021. He was 87 years old, a loving husband and father. He served his country with pride and dedication in the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents Freddie and Alice Balius. He is survived by his beautiful Ruth Earline Balius, his daughter's Linda (John) Kadlec, Sharon (Simon) Bechtel, Pam Balius and Lynn (Billy) Patrick. His 2 sisters Peggy Andrews and Shirley McMillian. 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, his fur daughter Josey and numerous, nieces and other relatives.

Visitation will be Wednesday March 24, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Bethel Baptist Church 1704 Ladnier Road Gautier, MS 39553. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am with Rev. Brandon McKinion officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will Simon Bechtel, Billy Patrick, John Kadlec, Anthony Bechtel, Ricky Cumbest, and Daniel Patrick.
