Lew Ray Brewer, age 87, of Pascagoula, Mississippi, passed away Friday, January 16, 2026 at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, MS.

Ray was born February 18, 1938 in Carrollton, MS, a son of Calvin and Dovie Mae Brewer. He married the love of his life, Elizabeth Brewer. Ray was a United States Marine and retired from Chevron of Pascagoula after many years of loyal service. He enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, golfing, and was a life long LSU sports fan.

He is survived by three children, Lisa Vendeiro, Buck Brewer, and Tom Bradshaw; seven grandchildren, Artie Rea, Tina Jones, Elizabeth Vendeiro, Stephanie Ackerman, David Brewer, Tommy Brewer, and Michael Brewer; and his best friend, Hemma Brewer. He is preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Brewer; one daughter, LaDonna Bradshaw; one grandson, Douglas Shaver; and his parents, Dovie Mae and Calvin L Brewer.
