Lois Jane Meador passed away peacefully at home on February 13, 2021, with her family at the age of 78. She was born September 1, 1942, in Detroit, MI, to Stanley and Evelyn Douglas. Lois owned her own business on the 70's and 80's (Poodle World) and worked for the City of Pascagoula as a Dedicated School Crossing Guard for 45 years. She was a longtime member of Riverside Baptist Church. Lois enjoyed making jewelry, scrapbooking, and working with rock and gems, and taking pictures. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Lois loved her Lord first, then family, church family and friends. She was always easy going and helping other when she could. Lois was preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Evelyn Douglas. She is survived by her husband of 40 years Jerry Donovan Meador; five children, Debra (David) Musick, Claude (Margaret) Coleman II, Kevin Coleman, Nora Meador, and Paul (Margie) Meador; six grandchildren, Darrel Coleman, Cacey (Darla) Coleman, Ashley Slayton, Logan Coleman, Micheal Coleman and Charlotte Nash and seven great grandchildren; Abby Wallace, Brianna Coleman, Jada Coleman, Amaya Boyne, Autumn Slayton, Donovan Cumbaa and De'Anna Cumbaa.
