Lyman Randall "Jack" Cumbest
Born January 25, 1941, to Earl and Sue Cumbest. Surrounded by his loving family, Jack passed into his eternal life on November 20, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Robbie Rae Knight; grandson Dillon Christian Cumbest; granddaughter Savanah Knight; Siblings: Ann, Earl Jr. (Cooter) and Russell.
Jack is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda Noble Cumbest, daughter Holly Monroe (Scottsboro, AL), son Kelly (Sherry Aycock) Cumbest, grandchildren: Stephanie (Sanders) Douglas, Zoe Davis and Josey Monroe, all of Scottsboro, AL; Aaron (Taylor) Knight of Flintstone, GA.; Collin, Iain, Lillian and Carolyn Cumbest, all of Pascagoula, MS. Great grandchildren: Aiden, Scout, Merida and Scarlett; siblings Billie (Terky) Smith and Tommy Cumbest and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Jack is survived by his brother-in-law, Buddy and best friend, Wyattie Dunn.
Jack proudly served his country during the Vietnam war. When he came home, he worked at Ingalls Shipbuilding for 40 years. He was a founding member of and King Ulysses VI for the Krew of Ulysses.

The family wants to thank Kare-In-Home hospice nurses Jathan, Dana and Becky for their loving care in this short time in his life. Also, thank you for all of the prayers, outreaching of love and food from our family and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2022, from 12 to 1 pm. Mass will begin at 1:00 pm. A rosary will be recited at 11:30 am, all are welcome. Fr. Lalo and Brother Ben Buckley will be officiating.
