Mrs. Lynda Sherman 76, of Escatawpa, MS passed away on November 19,2019 in Lucedale. Lynda was blessed with the gift of gardening and flower arranging. There isn't a cutting around that would not take root for her. She had a special way of connecting with others including strangers by sharing her cuttings, fruits, and flowers. She began working for a florist and then built a florist of her on in Escatawpa. Her hobbies were gardening, arranging flowers and nature.
She was a beautiful lady and a friend to everyone.
She is preceded in death by her husband Gary Sherman, her parents Bill and Pauline Helton, her grandchildren Joshua and Jacob Ryals, and her brother Billy Joe Helton.
She is survived by her children Pamela (Jeffrey) Ryals, and Christa (Phillip) Erkhart,
her grandchildren Eli and Levi Erkhart, and her sisters Monta (Jimmie) Barlow and Theressa (Johnny) Miles. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Thursday November 21,2019 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Holder-Wells Funeral Home 4007 Main Street Moss Point, MS 39563. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Steve Cirlot officiating. Burial will follow in Four Mile Creek cemetery in Escatawpa.
The family of Mrs. Sherman would like to extend a special thanks to the Hospice of Light and all of the ladies a Amelia's Garden for the exceptional care and love they gave during her final days.
