Lynette Bradley Franklin, 78 of Moss Point, MS., passed from this life on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at her home in Moss Point.
She was born September 30, 1941 in Andalusia, AL., to Charles and Eva Mae Bradley.
Lynette and her husband, Curtis were married for 30 years and made their home in Moss Point. She retired as a retail associate at the Exchange on the local Navy Base. She was a free spirit and lived life in her own unique way. An avid reader her whole life, books were favorite pastime. She loved music, art, plants and other beautiful things. When her vision got bad in the last few years, she enjoyed having a weekly outing to the Casino with her daughters or her good friend Kristy. She was a loving wife and mother and will be missed greatly by those who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Charlotte Lanton, and a nephew, Tony Lanton.
Survivors include; her dear husband, Curtis L. Franklin, 2 daughters, Janet L. Snowden, and Joy S. Portella. Grandchildren, Jennifer Gegenheimer, Taylor L. Marrero, Anthony R. Portella II, and Christin J. Motes. Great-grandchildren, Phoenix, Aliza, Birdie, Thomas, August, Londyn, Aspen, and Violet. Nieces and nephews, Mark, Chris, Suzie, and Jon Lanton. Along with several other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, January 20, 2020 at 2:00p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home, Moss Point, with her son in law, Mike Marrero officiating.
