Malva Suthoff Bilbo, 95 of Hattiesburg, MS, passed away Friday, September 27, 2019 in Hattiesburg.
She was born May, 3, 1924 in Moss Point, MS, to E.V. and Sally Dickson Suthoff.
Malva was a homemaker and substitute teacher. As an avid reader, She read the newspaper everyday from cover to cover. She also enjoyed writing long letters to her family, friends, and businesses. And also enjoyed watching football.
Known affectionately by her husband as "Flip", Malva and He loved traveling. The two of them visited all of the lower 48 States during their 65 years of marriage. Malva was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jackson. She kept a positive attitude, and a strong faith. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Aven Curtis Bilbo, Sr; her daughter, Diane Holland; and her sister, Dorothy Delashment.
Survivors include; One son, Aven Curtis Bilbo, Jr, two daughters, Gloria Thompson and husband Rick; and Jane Mauzey and husband Larry. 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 1, 2019 from 10:30a.m. until 11:00a.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home, 4007 Main St., Moss Point, MS.
Funeral Service will begin at 11:00a.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Randy Gardner officiating. Interment will follow at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula, MS.
