Mamie Frances Rogers, 88, of Pascagoula, Mississippi, passed from this life on Thursday, February 3, 2022, in Mobile, Al.
She was born on May 15, 1933, in Bolatusha, Mississippi to Clarence Dean Quick, Sr., and Dixie Dovey Ellington Quick.
Mamie loved photography, dancing, music, cooking, and traveling. But, the greatest loves of her life were her children. She was a Jehovah's Witness.
In addition to her parents, Mamie was preceded in death by her husband, Joel H. Rogers, one brother, Clarence Dean Quick, Jr., and 2 sisters, Veda Ann Waller, and Jo Doris Box.
Survivors include her children, Sandy Rogers, of Pascagoula, MS., Daniel (Brigitte Cherubini) Rogers, of Pascagoula, MS., Debra (Robert) Lavinghouse, of Medford OR., 2 grandchildren, Shaphan (Denise DeSadier) Lavinghouse, of MI., and Suzanne (Jason) O'Berry, of OR., one great-grandchild, Jonas O'Berry.
Visitation will be held, Tuesday, February 8, 2022, from 11 a.m. until service time at 12 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home, 4007 Main St., Moss Point, MS. with Bro. Alton Lee Officiating. Burial will be at Griffin Cemetery in Moss Point, MS.
