Mrs. Margaret Lynn Hill Stauter, 70, of Gautier, Mississippi, passed from this life on Monday, March 21, 2022, at her home in Gautier. She was born on January 24, 1952, in Pascagoula, Mississippi to Henry Morgan Hill and Delores C. Hill.
Margaret was first and foremost a Godly woman and a loving, and very much loved, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a Military certified Special Education daycare provider and Special Education teacher's aide. She was a Sunday school teacher, Church Youth Group Leader, and High school band parent volunteer.
Margaret loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed cross-stitching, reading, cooking, knitting, and sewing.
Margaret was preceded in death by her father, Henry Morgan Hill.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Richard "Rick" Stauter, her children, Richard Lee (Amanda) Stauter, Troy Eugene (Stephanie) Stauter, and Marlena Lynn (Michael) McLaurin. Nine grandchildren, Caley, Adeline, Micah, Charley, Andrew, Joshua, Daniel, Ryan, and Carter. Her mother, Mrs. Delores C. Hill,
brothers and sisters, Paulette Fagan, Morgan (Brenda) Hill, Angela Major, Phyllis (Edward) China, Kerry (Susan) Hill, and Darien (Trachelle) Hill. And numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 25, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home, 4007 Main Street, Moss Point, MS., 39563. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Josh Cochran officiating. The burial will be Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi, Mississippi.
