Mark Webster "Marty" Stewart 56 of Helena, MS passed away on April 26,2021 due to complications from cancer. Marty was born on September 25,1964 in Pascagoula. He was a lifelong resident of Jackson County. He worked construction and in the local shipyards until he became disabled due to an accident. Marty loved his Lord and was of the Assembly of God Faith.
He was preceded in death by his father George "Mickey" Stewart, his brother Andy Stewart, his grandparents Mixon and Elo Stewart, Charlie and Audell Coon and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is survived by his mother Marie Coon Stewart, and his brother Michael "Mike" Matienzo. He will also be sadly missed by his nephews Jeremy Matienzo, Justin Chanler, and Daniel Brown along will many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Visitation will Tuesday May 4,2021 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at Holder-Wells Coastal Funeral Home 12800 Hwy 613 Moss Point, Mississippi 39562.The funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Rodney Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Serene Memorial Gardens in Moss Point.
Pallbearers will be Josh Beyers, Bradon Beyers, Will Johnson, Braxton Hyatt, John Paul Thornhill, and Daniel Brown.
