Martha Lou "Dunn" Boutwell 85 of Helena, MS passed away July 8,2019 in Moss Point, MS with her family by her side. Martha Lou was born in Seaboard/Jackson, AL on June 26,1934
She was the retired manager of Burger "n" More in Moss Point. She loved gardening, fishing, cooking, shopping, but most of all she loved her family and dogs. She was a very loving and caring person to everybody who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her by parents Jeptha and Nora Dunn. Her husbands Alvin Evans, Leland Peek and the love her life Sydney Boutwell. Siblings Herbert Dunn, Roy Dunn, and Tommy Dunn. Children Betty Lou McNeely, Robert Evans, and Billy Evans. Grandchildren Jeremy Evans, Brandon Capsis, Joseph Evans and Patrick Evans. Great Grandchild Lenna Meredith.
She is survived by her children Dorothy (Terry) Scott, Terrill (Darlene) Evans, Gary (Cyndi) Evans, Marla (Don) Akins, Tina Slater, and Destiny Lewis (Grandchild raised as her own daughter). Brother Wyatt Dunn, sisters Josephine Hunter, Margaret (Tommy) Moore and Mary (Roger) Davis. 21 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation for Martha will be Friday July 12,2019 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Holder-Wells Funeral Home 4007 Main Street Moss Point, MS. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am from the chapel with burial following in the Boutwell Family cemetery in Helena.
