Mary Elizabeth Brown went home to be with the Lord on December 18, 2023 in Moss Point, MS. She was 80 years old. Mrs. Mary Brown was born January 01, 1943 in Laurel, MS to Luther and Ruby Odom. She was a retired cafeteria worker for Kreole Elementary Moss Point School District. She loved spending time with family and her great grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Warner Brown, parents Luther and Ruby Odom, Brothers: James Ralph (BaBa) and Luther Baron Odom, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories children: Joy (Michael) Rock and Gary ( Debbie) Brown, grandchildren: Ava Brown, Allison Shearer, Garrett (Carson) Williams, and Hailey (Hexcaroldo) Autrey, great-grandchildren: Rosalie Williams, Olivia Williams, Rylan Shields, and Analynn Wheeler, sisters: Becky Burnett and Diane (Thomas) Waller; brother Ray (Debbie) Odom; devoted nephew Todd Waller, and a host of nieces nephews, other relatives and friends. Honorary family Barbara and Larry Wolf, Diane and Ralph Simpson, and Phillip Coulter, the best neighbors anyone could ask for.

A special thanks is given to the staff at Singing River Hospital and Hospice of Light. For their compassionate care. We the family would like to also express our deep gratitude to the family and friends for all your love and support.

Visitation will be held at Holder-wells Coastal Funeral Home 12800 Highway 613 Moss Point, MS 39562, on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm funeral hour. Internment will follow at Serene Memorial Gardens in Moss Point.
