Mary Frances Comans, 98 of Pascagoula, MS, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020 at her home in Pascagoula.
She was born February 11, 1922 in Newton County, MS to Bruce and Lula Mae Stewart Hedrick.
She was a homemaker, and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She loved to sew, and crochet and also enjoyed gardening.
In addition to her parents, She was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Comans, one daughter, Dorothy Raybon, and 4 brothers, Ed Hedrick, Charles Hedrick, Fred Hedrick, Robert Hedrick, and one sister, Ruth Wilkerson
Survivors include: her children, Rufus Comans, Blanch Comans, Gloria (Curtis) Raybon, and Linda (Mabry) Breland. Brother, Billy (Becky) Hedrick.
Grandchildren: Kelvin (Tina) Raybon, Kerry (Lisa) Raybon, Lee (Kim) Comans, Candace (Keith) Ward, Leonard Raybon, Paul (Cynthia) Raybon, and Jessica (Freddie) Fornea. 13 Great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Riverside Baptist Church, 2211 Canty St., Pascagoula, MS. Funeral Service will begin at 3:00 p.m. from the church sanctuary with Rev. Tracy Martin officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons. Burial will be at Machpelah Cemetery.
