Mary Louise Parker, age 73, of Moss Point, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019, in Pascagoula. She was born on November 6, 1945, in Moss Point to Ellison and Maggie Tucker Simmons. On March 20, 1960, she married Walter Eugene Parker. He passed away on their 55th wedding anniversary. Mary is survived by her sister, Peggy Ward and Husband James of Little Rock, MS; aunts, Eunice Wall and Florence Bounds; special friends; Charlene and Billy Shields, Arlene and James Stallins, Ms. Shirley, Ms. Evelyn, Melvin B, Megan, and numerous nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers James and John Simmons. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, from 7-9 pm, at Coastal Funeral Home, 12800 Hwy 613, Moss Point, MS, 39562. The funeral service will be on Thursday, August 29, 2019, at 11 am, at Escatawpa Baptist Church, 7101 Hwy 613, Moss Point, MS, 39563, with Pastor Matt Morse officiating. Interment will follow at Serene Memorial Gardens in Moss Point.
