Mr.Michael Dale "Mike" Matienzo 58 of Helena, Mississippi passed away on October 29,2021. Mike was born on June 18,1963 in Pascagoula, Mississippi. He was a lifelong resident of Jackson County. He worked over the years in the carpet cleaning business and in the local shipyards until he became disabled. Mike loved his Lord and was of the Assembly of God faith.
He was preceded in death by his father George "Mickey" Stewart, his mother Elsie Marie Stewart, his brothers Marty Stewart and Andy Stewart, his grandparents Charlie and Audell Coon, Mixon and Ello Stewart.
He is survived by his son Jeremy Matienzo, his aunts and uncles Jimmy and Jane Johnson, Mary Brumfield, Nell Ladnier, Dub and Peggy Johnson, Dana Coon Edd and Diane Stewart, his companion Angie Collins, special friends Steve Morris and David Scarbrough . He also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, and lots of friends.
Visitation will be Monday November 1,2021 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Holder-Wells Coastal Funeral Home 12800 Hwy 613 Moss Point, Mississippi 39562. The funeral will begin at 2:00 pm from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Rodney Coleman officiating . Burial will follow in Serene Memorial Gardens cemetery.
