Michael David Ross, 62, passed away on August 11, 2025, in Moss Point.
Born on February 13, 1963, Michael was the beloved son of the late Donald and Lillian Ross. He was preceded in death by his brothers Donald Ross and Mark Ross, and by his grandparents Joseph and Florence Olivia "Sally" Cothran.
Michael is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara Elaine Ross; his children, Drayton (Amanda) David Ross, Ashleigh Nicole Ross, and Olivia Caitlyn Ross; and his cherished grandchildren, Drayton Michael Ross, Jace Joseph Ross, Donald William Lee, Claudia Elaine McCardle, Lillian Beatrice McCardle, Elias Alva Varney Kaelyn Woodard, Anderson Esquilin, and Kalani Esquilin; and dear friend, Rhonda Davis Ross. He is also survived by his brothers Richard Paul Ross and Roger (Rebecca) Earl Ross; his loyal dog and best friend, Duke; and a host of other close family and friends who loved him deeply.
Michael had a lifelong passion for woodworking and carpentry, taking great pride in the quality of his work. A lover of Punk and Classic Rock music, he found joy in the rhythm of life's simple pleasures. Known for his steady nature, dedication, and kindness, Michael was, above all, a good man - a title he wore with quiet dignity.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those whose lives he touched.
