Nancy Genevieve Bennett Neal, also known as; "Miss Jenny" and "Aunt Tiny"
passed away Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019 at her home in Pascagoula, MS.
She was born Sept. 9, 1929 in Moss Point, MS to John A. and Maddie Thorp Bennett. Miss Jenny was in the restaurant business for many year of her life. She was owner and operator of The Grierson St. Ice Cream Shop, as well as Kiddie Kollege. She was a hostess and cashier for the La Font Inn restaurant for 21 years, and The Heritage House restaurant for several years. Miss Jenny was a kindhearted, loving mother, grandmother and friend to everyone she met. Her favorite hobbies were shopping and yard sailing.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ishmael Ivery Neal, brother, James A. Bennett, sister, Kathleen Henderson, and grandson, Michael Dale Neal.
Survivors include her children, Debra Neal (Steve) Ray, Cheryl Neal Wallace, and John "Randy" (Stacey) Neal. 3 granddaughters, Kelli R. King, Genevieve "Jenna" Louviere, and Hillary (Toby) Nelson.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 12Noon at Holder-Wells Funeral Home 4007 Main St. Moss Point, MS 39563. The funeral service will follow at 12 Noon from the Holder-Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wendell Stork officiating.
Pallbearers will be: Lonnie Porter, Boomer White, Robert Zwick, Timmy Neal, Kerry Neal, and Rickey Henderson.
Burial will be at Griffin Cemetery, Moss Point, MS.
Holder-Wells Funeral Home, Moss Point, MS is in charge of arrangements.
