Obituary

Nettie Mansfield Cirlot passed away on September 29, 2020 at her daughter's home in Stone Mountain, GA. She was born on September 24, 1928 in Pascagoula, MS and remained there until June 2020 when her declining health made it impossible for her to continue living independently. Nettie was a faithful member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church. She taught religion to 2nd graders for several years and after retiring from AT & T, she and her late husband, Felix, managed the St. Vincent de Paul thrift store for many years.

Mrs. Cirlot's family wants to express sincere thanks to the loyal friends and neighbors who looked out for 'Mrs. Nettie' in recent years. They are especially grateful to Sue Ellen and Kenny Moore, Lana Taylor, Iris and Taylor Salley and a special 'thank you' to Erin Johnson.

Mrs. Cirlot was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Cirlot, her parents, Walter and Ila Mansfield and brothers, Joe, Bill, John and Wayne Mansfield. She is survived by her daughters Becky (Mike) Nicovich of Stone Mountain, GA, Jaye (Mark) Clabaugh of Arlington, VA, her son, Bill (TooToo) Cirlot of Fulshear, TX, her grandchildren, Rusty (Alison Makins) Nicovich, Seattle, WA, Angie (Corey) Pihera, Decatur, GA, Lauren (Mike) McHugh, Medford, NJ, and Anna Clabaugh, Morehead City, NC, a great-grandson, Parks Pihera, her sisters, Julia Walsh of Fort Worth, TX, Vivian Bell of San Antonio, TX and her brother Greg Mansfield of Burleson, TX as well as many nieces and nephews.
A private service is planned. In remembrance of Mrs. Cirlot, the family requests donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Pharmacy, P.O. Box 1228, Biloxi, MS, 39533-1228.
