Obituary

Nora Lee Ivy Beauchamp (Hotrod), 83, of Moss Point, Mississippi passed away on June 24,
2024 in Pascagoula, Mississippi. She was born January 8, 1941, to Henry Alvin Ivy and Helen
Louise Ellington Ivy in Longview, Mississippi.
Nora was a Registered Nurse at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, Mississippi until she
chose early retirement to work alongside her late husband, Raymond Beauchamp. Nora and
Raymond Beauchamp were the owners and operators of Jackson County Wrecker Service in
Moss Point, Mississippi for many years. Nora was a member of the Eastern Star Adah Ocean
Springs Number 49 and a member of Dantzler Memorial Methodist Church. Nora dedicated her
life to her family and was always a phone call away if any of her family needed her. She will be
deeply missed by her family and friends.
Nora was preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond Boyd Beauchamp, her parents,
Henry Alvin Ivy and Helen Louise Ellington Ivy, four sisters, Berneice Ivy Nobles, Doris Ivy
Richey, Evelyn Ivy Gilliam and Mary Ivy Cox, two brothers, James Ivy and Johnny Ivy.
Nora is survived by her son, Danny Ray Beauchamp (Shellie), Daughters, Terrie Lynne
Beauchamp Trehern and Tonya Suzanne Beauchamp Taylor, Seven Grandchildren, Tara
Trehern (Ashley), Jennifer Beauchamp Hamilton (Jason), Jason Beauchamp (Lexi), Mandi
(Bear) Trehern Trevino (James), Sumar Beauchamp Davis (Greg), Caleb Coleman (Susanna)
and Katelyn Coleman (Brylon), Nine Great Grandchildren, Abigail Rushing, Remi Rushing,
Jayce Clegg, Ella Trehern, Everly Trevino, Greyson Davis, Abby Davis, Kash Beauchamp, Kylie
Beauchamp, Laynie Hamilton, Makenley Hamilton and Maddox Hamilton, One Great- Great
Grandchild, Sadie Clegg, Former Son in Law, Charles Trehern, Jr, One brother, Billy Ivy, one
sister, Betty Ivy Hall, numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by two sister in laws
who were more like sisters to her, Charlotte Ivy and Pam Ivy, Special friends, Mary Brewer,
Shirley Bowen and Tricia Careno.
Serving as Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Caleb Coleman, Jayce Clegg, Jason Beauchamp,
Jason Hamilton and James Trevino. Her great Nephew, Ben Smith, whom she loved dearly will
also serve as a pallbearer. Her Grandsons, Ashley( Running Bear) and Greg Davis will serve as
honorary pallbearers. Those who knew her knew that she loved her grandsons deeply and
these boys loved their Mamaw.
Visitation for Nora will be Sunday, June 30, 2024, from 6pm- 8 pm at Holder Wells Main Street Funeral Home, 4007 Main St., Moss Point, MS 39563.
Funeral Services will be held on July 1, 2024, starting at 1 pm at
Dantzler Memorial Methodist Church, Moss Point, Mississippi with Dobbs Dennis officiating.
Entombment will be at Jackson County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
