It is with a heavy heart that the French family announces the loss of Patricia "Lavelle" French, 77 years of age, wife of Richard French, and mother to Richard McClung and Catherine (Chad) Seymour. Grandmother to Milo McClung and Connor Seymour. Her passing was sudden and unplanned, and her final moments were spent surrounded by her loving family.
She was an adventurous soul who led a full life of hard work and met life's challenges head-on.
She served in the U.S. Air Force for 27 years and retired as a SMSGT at Keesler AFB, Biloxi, MS. She volunteered at the Keesler Pharmacy for several years providing continued support for our Nation's military.
She was well-traveled and loved adventures, visiting many different countries and tropical islands. She enjoyed being on local bowling teams and visiting with friends.
Lavelle's family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life and not the sadness of her passing. She will be greatly missed.
