Ms. Patsy Juanita Jackson (Saksa) 75, of Moss Point, MS passed away the morning of February 11, 2021 in Hurley, MS. Ms. Jackson was born September 9, 1945 in Pascagoula, MS.
She enjoyed softball, both playing and watching. She was a tremendous fan of SEC fast-pitch softball and could always be found near a tv during the season. She also enjoyed fishing and playing bingo.
She will be remembered as a loving friend, mother, Mawmaw, daughter, and sister and aunt. She was preceded in death by her parents Clinton and Clara Mae Jackson, brother Derwood Jackson, and sister Rita Brown.
Ms. Jackson is survived by her two devoted sons Jeffrey (Melissa) Saksa of Grand Bay, AL and Michael (Tonya) Saksa of Hurley, MS. She will also be missed by her five grandchildren Neal Saksa, Brandon Saksa, Bethany Collins (Saksa), Ryan Saksa, and Eric Saksa, as well as her four great grandchildren.
She leaves behind her sister Sarah (Johnny) South of Helena, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 14, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Holder-Wells Funeral Home 4007 Main Street Moss Point, Mississippi 39563. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Alton Stokes and Rev. Jeffrey Saksa officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Serene Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Neal Saksa, Brandon Saksa, Ryan Saksa, Eric Saksa, Shawn Collins, and Evan Hebert.
The family would like to extend a personal thanks to the staff of Guardian Angels Personal Care Home in Hurley for the care and love during Patsy's illness.
