Paul Davis of Vancleave, Mississippi passed away on Friday October 17th, 2025. He was born in Ruth, Mississippi to Clifton Davis and Noramae King Davis on July 26th, 1939.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Noramae Davis, sisters Nola Griffing and Barbara Davis, brother James Davis, niece Jackie Griffing Evans, and brothers-in-law Tom Baker, Jiggs Griffing, and John Brown.
He will be fondly remembered by his loving wife Patricia Brown Davis. Children Mike(Brooke) Davis, DeeDee Davis, Brandy(Chris) Mallette, Kristy (James) Pierce, Jeff (Christine) Adams, Sherry (Clint) Holt, Teresa (Cliff) Meins. Grandchildren, Tyler Davis, Justin Carpenter, Jessie (Kacie) Reynolds, Lee Reynolds, Michael (Breanne) Adams, William (Danielle) Adams, Courtney (Gavin) Hollingsworth, Shane (Amber) Gill, Devin (Sarah) Gill, Branson (Whitney) Meins, Austin (Chelsea) Mallette,Tyler Mallette, Jaden Mallette, Jordan (Kyle), Rice, Chelsea Mallette, Katelyn Davis, Autumn (Neal) Fuller and Anna (Conner) McKay. Sister Merle Baker, and Sisters-in-law Pam Davis Blalock and Judy Brown. As well as Twenty-Five Great Grandchildren, Two Great, Great Grandchildren and Eleven Nieces and Nephews.
Paul found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed hunting and always made sure his grandsons had a hunting partner. Fishing for river catfish, and spending time on his tractor. A devout Baptist, he cherished watching his grandchildren play sports and delighted in family vacations to places such as Disney World, Six Flags, and across the United States. Paul's sense of adventure was matched only by his dedication to his country, as he served with pride in the United States Army. After spending his life working in many trades caring for his family he opened his own locksmith shop named City Lockshop where he proudly serviced the Pascagoula community for 25 years.
Family and Friends are invited to attend Funeral services honoring Paul's life on Thursday, October 23, 2025 in the Chapel of Holder Wells Funeral Home 12800 Highway 613 Moss Point, Mississippi 39562. Visitation will begin at 11:00am with a service to begin at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Vancleave Cemetery No. 1
