Peggy Joy Finnegan, 74, of Moss Point, MS, passed away on August 11, 2020.
Peggy was born December 1, 1945, in Evergreen, Al, to Wilton and Muriel Edson. She was the youngest of three children.
Peggy graduated from Evergreen High School and later went on to pursue a career in real estate in Mobile, Al. She married Charles F. Finnegan in 1978 and together they would enjoy many years traveling the World. She was an avid camper and enjoyed hiking, spending time outdoors, and traveling in her motorhome.
Peggy is preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles F. Finnegan, and brother-in-law, Jimmy Pierce.
She is survived by her brother Roger Edson, sister Barbara Edson Pierce; children, Gordon (LaLinda) Grace, and Stephanie Drury; four grandchildren, Christopher Grace, Caydn Perez, Kaitlyn Drury, and Emersyn Grace; furry family, Ellie and Albus; numerous nieces and nephews.
To honor Peggy's wishes, a funeral service will not be held. The family will celebrate her life privately.
In lieu of flowers, please honor her memory with donations to the Jackson County Animal Shelter 4400 Audubon Lane, Gautier, MS, 39553.
