Mrs. Quinnia Culpepper, 84, of Lucedale, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023, in Lucedale. She was born in Altha, Alabama on March 11, 1938, to Curtis Wise and Lonnie Lee Donaldson Wise.
Mrs. Culpepper loved spending time with her family and adored her grandchildren. She was a registered nurse, and nursing was her passion.
She and her husband, Robert lived in Sitka, Alaska for 22 years. While living in Alaska, she worked as an OR nurse manager, before her retirement.
Mrs. Culpepper also enjoyed crafting, sewing, quilting, and writing. She wrote and self-published two short story mystery adventure books. She and her husband enjoyed traveling and camping, fishing, and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Charles Culpepper, one son, Toby Charles Culpepper, and 2 sisters, Opal Norwood, and Shirley Craig.
Survivors include her 2 sons, Glenn Culpepper, and his wife, Debra, and Dennis Culpepper. Grandchildren, Dawn (Michael) Gray, Curtis (Briti) Culpepper, Robert (Terika) Culpepper, Kathy (Casey) Stough, Amy (Chris) Tomlin, Charles Culpepper, and Toby Culpepper, Jr. Six great-grandchildren, Ceara Warden, Taylor Warden, Kayley Warden, Dylan Culpepper, Amelia Culpepper, Camron Stough, Melanie Stough, Paige Dansby, Jeremy Dansby, Ashton Tomlin, Addy Tomlin, and Hayden Clark. One great-great-grandchild, Hazel Warden. One sister, Eloise Bell.
The memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Holder-Wells Coastal Funeral Home 12800 Hwy 613 Moss Point, MS., 39562
with Rev. Wendell Stork officiating.
