Rachel D. Holmes, 46 of Gautier, MS., passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Friday, December 18, 2020, in Mobile, Al.
Rachel was born on July 23, 1974, in Pascagoula, MS.
She enjoyed sewing, crochet, and cake decorating. She was previously employed with Anderson's Bakery in Pascagoula.
Rachel is survived by her husband, Chris Holmes, parents, Bobby, and Annette Holloman, brother, Bobby Holloman, sister, Laura (Gary) Brown, and mother-in-law, Ann Holmes. Nieces and nephews, Tiffany Jones (Ryan Welther), Jessica Williams (Trace Williams), Danielle Slay (Bryan Huertas), Scott Brown, Newt Brown, and Hagan Brown. Great niece and nephew, Raelynn Huertas, and Jaxon Welther. Good friend, Jessie Fayard, and her dog, Holly.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 21, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mike Steve officiating.
Holder-Wells Funeral Home 4007 Main St., Moss Point, MS is in charge of arrangements.
