Mr. Raymond Eugene Edwards, Sr., passed away on November 15, 2024. He was born on February 28, 1939, to the late Bob and Mamie Edwards in Kreole, MS. He is preceded in death by his siblings: John Henry Edwards, Nathan Smelly, Phillip Smelly, James Smelly, Faye Nell Ehlers, and Virginia Matthews.

Mr. Raymond Edwards, Sr., leaves to cherish his memories his children, Raymond E. Edwards, Jr., John Michael Edwards, and Deanna (Lorne) Schexnayder, special friends Calvin (Trisha) Parker, Gary (Marsha) Miller, and the Cole family, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Mr. Raymond Edwards loved fox hunting and fishing. He managed the Poticaw Fishing camp for over 30 years. He retired from Jerry Lee's after over 47 years. He was a lifelong member of Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church in Vancleave, MS.

Visitation for Mr. Raymond Edwards, Sr. will be held at Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church, 13802 Mt. Pleasant Road, Vancleave, MS 39565, on Friday, November 22, 2024, beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. funeral hour. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church Cemetery immediately following the service. Rev. Ron McDougald will officiate.
